Microstructure and hydration of interstitial in clinkers produced over molten steel

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, Volume 108, Issue 12, December 2025.
Abstract Scalable electrical production of clinker is possible under reducing conditions, and the reactivity of C3A produced in such conditions has only been superficially described. We examined electric clinkers made over molten steel with a range of fineness and compared them against commercial clinkers.

Human Cytomegalovirus Associated Neuropathies: A Comprehensive Review From Pathophysiology to Clinical and Therapeutic Considerations

open access: yesJournal of the Peripheral Nervous System, Volume 30, Issue 4, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) is a neurotropic, double‐stranded DNA virus from the Herpesviridae family. It has a large genome, infects the majority of populations, and typically causes asymptomatic infections in healthy individuals. After the initial infection with established lifelong latency, HCMV can reactivate and cause disorders including

Analysis of a plasma torch

open access: yes, 1974
The phys. behavior of a plasma torch is described by a set of 5 equations with 5 variables. These equations make it possible to calc. the characteristic quantities of the plasma flow; i.e., degree of ionization, velocity, d., temp., and enthalpy. The equations are solved graphically. For comparison, the values as found by a computer are also given.

Experimental Study on Wire Melting Control Ability of Twin-Body Plasma Arc

open access: yesChinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering
The twin-body plasma arc has the decoupling control ability of heat transfer and mass transfer, which is beneficial to shape and property control in wire arc additive manufacturing. In this paper, with the wire feeding speed as a characteristic quantity,
