Plasmons and intersubband plasmons of a superlattice

The collective plasmon modes of a doped or modulated doped semiconductor superlattice are investigated via a calculation of the wave-vector frequency-dependent dielectric constant. Graphene supports surface plasmons that have been observed to be both electrically and geometrically tunable in the mid- to far-infrared spectral regions.
