ABSTRACT Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) can be transformed into hydrogen (H2) through several chemical and catalytic processes, offering a promising route for both waste treatment and clean H2 production. This colorless, flammable, and toxic gas is found abundantly in swamps, volcanoes, hot springs, sewages, other natural gas fields, and even in refineries and

Optical properties of nanocomposite materials based on plasmon nanoparticles [PDF]
In this work, optical properties of nanocomposite materials based on plasmon metallic spherical nanoparticles have been studied. The authors have compared four different effective theories that take into account the size dispersion, interaction between nanoparticles and extrinsic size effect for calculation of the effective refractive index of Au, Ag ...

Dicke superradiance from a plasmonic nanocomposite slab [PDF]
The theory of Dicke superradiance from an optically thin nanocomposite slab represented by metal nanoparticles dispersed in a dielectric matrix is developed from first principles. It is shown that the superradiance signal evolution is determined by the eigenvalues of the field susceptibility tensor for the slab.
