On plasticity with hardening

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1978
In a previous paper [6] we considered the problem of finding the stresses and displacements in a body made up by an elastic-perfectly plastic material under a given time-dependent load. Following Duvaut-Lions [3] this problem was formulated as a variational inequality, and we proved existence of a (strong) solution of the variational inequality.

Diverting glial glycolytic flux towards neurons is a memory-relevant role of Drosophila CRH-like signalling

open access: yesNature Communications
An essential role of glial cells is to comply with the large and fluctuating energy needs of neurons. Metabolic adaptation is integral to the acute stress response, suggesting that glial cells could be major, yet overlooked, targets of stress hormones ...

Map plasticity

open access: yes, 2019
With the arrival of digital maps, the ubiquity of maps has increased sharply and new map functionalities have become available such as changing the scale on the fly or displaying/hiding layers. Users can now interact with maps on multiple devices (e.g. smartphones, desktop computers, large-scale displays, head-mounted displays) using different means of

Hippocampal-dependent navigation in head-fixed mice using a floating real-world environment

open access: yesScientific Reports
Head-fixation of mice enables high-resolution monitoring of neuronal activity coupled with precise control of environmental stimuli. Virtual reality can be used to emulate the visual experience of movement during head fixation, but a low inertia floating
