An NIR‐II Absorbing Injectable Hydrogel for Boosted Photo‐Immunotherapy Toward Human Papillomavirus Associated Cancer

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
An innovative therapeutic platform combining aggregation‐induced emission‐active (AIE) phototheranostic agents and imiquimod in an injectable hydrogel is presented. The system utilizes near‐infrared‐II laser irradiation to induce photothermal effects, releasing imiquimod and activating the immune system to target and eliminate HPV‐associated cancers ...

Mesenteric thrombosis: An unusual complication of severe acute pancreatitis—Report of two cases

open access: yesAdvances in Digestive Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract The incidence of acute pancreatitis is 34 per 100 000 people in the general population and is on the rise. Approximately 15% to 20% of all patients experience severe pancreatitis, with a mortality rate nearing 20%. This condition is often linked to vascular complications, although mesenteric thrombosis is a rare presentation.

Multi‐Module Micro/Nanorobots for Biomedical and Environmental Remediation Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Multi‐module microrobots (MNRs) have overcome the limitations of single‐module systems by integrating components such as propeller, actuator, manipulator, and imaging modalities. They show promise in biomedical applications, such as targeted drug delivery and tissue repair, as well as in environmental remediation, including pollutant removal.

Deep‐Learning Model for Central Nervous System Infection Diagnosis and Prognosis Using Label‐Free 3D Immune‐Cell Morphology in the Cerebrospinal Fluid

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Early diagnosis and prognosis prediction of central nervous system infections are critical. This study introduces a deep‐learning model utilizing cerebrospinal fluid immune‐cell morphology captured via 3D holotomography. The model effectively predicts infection etiology and prognosis, achieving high accuracy.
