Diallyl trisulfides (DATs) selectively induce cuproptosis in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) by targeting Ras‐related protein Rab‐18 (RAB18) and regulating lipophagy. DATs promote RAB18 phase separation, enhance mitochondrial‐associated membrane structures (MAMs) formation, and increase succinylation of dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLD) at K320.

Abstract A biologic is a therapeutic agent with biological activity that is administered to achieve an enhanced regenerative or reparative effect. The use of biologics has progressively become a core component of contemporary periodontal practice. However, some questions remain about their safety, indications, and effectiveness in specific clinical ...

Size-dependent phase morphologies in LiFePO4 battery particles [PDF]
Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO$_4$) is the prototypical two-phase battery material, whose complex patterns of lithium ion intercalation provide a testing ground for theories of electrochemical thermodynamics. Using a depth-averaged (a-b plane) phase-field model of coherent phase separation driven by Faradaic reactions, we reconcile conflicting ...

This review explores the potential of electroactive electrospun nanofibrous (EEN) scaffolds for enhanced skin wound healing. It discusses how a variety of electroactive materials can be prepared into EEN scaffolds via electrospinning technology, and their applications in various wound types. The review provides insights into the future perspectives for

Platelet yield and yield consistency for six single-spin methods of platelet rich plasma preparation
Single-spin methods of preparation of platelet-rich plasma are used widely in private practice, yet they have not been extensively studied and compared. The use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) by the private practitioner can be facilitated by efficient and

Human platelet-rich plasma improves the nesting and differentiation of human chondrocytes cultured in stabilized porous chitosan scaffolds [PDF]
[EN] The clinical management of large-size cartilage lesions is difficult due to the limited regenerative ability of the cartilage. Different biomaterials have been used to develop tissue engineering substitutes for cartilage repair, including chitosan ...

Mechanical Biomimetic Nanocomposites for Multidimensional Treatment of Arterial Thrombosis
In this study, a mechanical biomimetic nanocomposite is developed, guided by photoacoustic imaging, to achieve highly efficient and safe thrombolysis through the synergistic effects of photothermal therapy and pharmacological intervention. Most notably, the nanoparticle improves the microenvironment of arterial thrombi, marked by high shear stress and ...
