Platelet membrane‐coated layered double hydroxide nanoparticles were engineered to target inflamed endothelium at early‐stage atherosclerosis and enhance therapeutic efficacy. The biomimetic platform improves stability, immune escape, and inflamed vascular cell targeting, resulting in reduced oxidative stress and downregulated adhesion molecules.

Visual Loss after Platelet-rich Plasma Injection into the Face
Platelet-rich plasma has become one of the most widely used facial cosmetics fillers. We evaluated four patients treated by cosmetologists with platelet-rich plasma injections who developed irreversible blindness due to iatrogenic occlusion of the ophthalmic artery; immediately after the injection in the glabellar area in three cases and in the ...

Myotendinous Junction Anesthesia: An Alternative Infiltration Site for Ultrasound-Guided Injections
The myotendinous junction is a highly specialized and complex structure between muscle and tendon. In recent years, various procedures have directly targeted the tendon, with corticosteroid, platelet-rich plasma, or biological therapy infiltrations being

Abstract Medial meniscus posterior root tears and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries disrupt knee biomechanics and accelerate joint degeneration, particularly in the presence of varus malalignment. This technical note describes a combined surgical approach that integrates medial meniscus posterior root repair, ACL reconstruction, and high tibial

Suture Augmented Ulnar Collateral Ligament Reconstruction: A Detailed Technique
Abstract Suture augmentation is frequently being used for medial ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) repair and many surgeons now augment UCL reconstructions with a high strength suture. This article and video describe the technique of suture augmented UCL reconstruction.

Gluteal Undersurface Concealed Crescent Injury Endoscopic Deep Surface Repair
Abstract Partial‐thickness articular‐sided gluteus medius and minimus tears—referred to as gluteal undersurface concealed crescent injury lesions—can cause debilitating pain. Persistent symptoms despite nonoperative care indicate operative management. Conventional endoscopic repair techniques for partial‐thickness gluteal tears have commonly involved a

The platelet-rich plasma influence on the inflammatory process in proliferation stage
One of the known methods of treatment is biomesotherapy, in which the patient’s own biomaterials are used for injection. It ensures complete biocompatibility and practically eliminates the possibility of beginning the allergic reactions.

Abstract Despite continuous advances, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction still struggles to restore full native knee function, as most techniques improve mechanical stability but overlook biological healing. The described superenhanced anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction technique aims to address this biological problem through a quadruple
