Predictive Biomarkers in Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Patients Treated With Bevacizumab: A Turkish Oncology Group (TOG) Study

Bevacizumab added to systemic chemotherapy remains a cornerstone of metastatic colorectal cancer treatment, but its effectiveness is variable. Tumors can bypass the VEGF blockade by activating other pro‐angiogenic pathways, hampering the identification of predictive biomarkers.

Gene expression signatures from single‐cell transcriptomics predict Sjögren's syndrome

A machine learning‐based 12‐gene signature (SjS.Sig) was developed from scRNA‐seq data of PBMCs from Sjögren's syndrome patients. The model was validated using bulk RNA‐seq datasets and further confirmed through flow cytometry and qPCR analysis in an independent clinical cohort, demonstrating robust diagnostic potential.

Black phosphorus‐based photothermal disruption of cancer‐associated fibroblast barriers and tumor‐associated macrophage targeting to enhance anti‐PD‐L1 immunotherapy in triple‐negative breast cancer

MBB modulates the TNBC tumor microenvironment by targeting TAM/CXCL1 and facilitates anti‐PD‐L1 therapy by disrupting CAF barriers via its photothermal effect. This combined strategy subsequently enhances the efficacy of PD‐L1 mAb and suppresses TNBC progression, metastasis, and recurrence.
