The Doctrine of Memory in Origen of Alexandria: Intersecting the Theory of Divine Names, Platonic Recollection, and Feminine Perspectives

open access: yesOpen Theology
Posing as the first attempt to study systematically Origen’s doctrine of memory, this article pieces together the sparse references to memory in the Origenian literature. While no systematic attempt to investigate memory is traceable in Origen’s thought,

Synthesis, Crystal Structure, Hirshfeld Surface, RDG, ELF, LOL, DFT, and Molecular Docking Studies of a Binuclear Copper(II) Carboxylate Complex

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 6, June 2026.
A binuclear copper(II) phenylacetate–metronidazole complex was successfully synthesized and structurally characterized. Hirshfeld surface analysis confirmed dominant H···H interactions governing crystal packing stability. DFT calculations demonstrated strong agreement with experimental geometry.

Moral Implications of Augustine's Philosophical and Spiritual Journey in his Confessiones

open access: yesCommunications, 2015

Platonic surface

open access: yesCommentarii Mathematici Helvetici, 1999
If SO is a Riemann surface with a complete metric of finite area and constant curvature -1, let SC denote the conformal compactification of SO. We show that, under the assumption that the cusps of SO are large, there is a close relationship between the hyperbolic metrics on SO and SC. We use this relationship to show that

Exploring the Reactivity of Perphenylheptasilanes: Synthesis of Terminally Functionalized Derivatives

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, Volume 652, Issue 7, 6 May 2026.
Different methods to prepare 1,7‐disubstituted tetradecaphenylheptasilanes are explored. The triflated heptasilane TfO‐(SiPh2)7‐OTf reacts with alkali metal halides to produce the 1,7‐dihalogenides X‐(SiPh2)7‐X (X = F, Cl, Br, I). The 1,7‐dihydrogen derivative H‐(SiPh2)7‐H is obtained with LiAlH4 or (i‐Bu)2AlH as reducing agents.

TURAAB: A 34‐Year Dust and Atmospheric Regional Reanalysis for the Middle East, North Africa and Mediterranean—First Insights

open access: yesMeteorological Applications, Volume 33, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
TURAAB: A 34‐year dust and atmospheric regional reanalysis for the Mediterranean–MENA region. We present TURAAB, a 34‐year, 6‐km regional reanalysis integrating meteorology and dust for the Mediterranean–MENA domain. The system demonstrates good behavior, aligning closely with observational and reanalysis products. TURAAB provides a high‐value resource

“Platonismo sociale”? In difesa del realismo fenomenologico in ontologia sociale

open access: yesRivista di Estetica, 2012
In my paper, I will address two issues on the characterisation of social objects as subject-dependent objects: (i) Does phenomenological realism imply Platonism in social ontology?
