Mathematical Existence De-Platonized: Introducing Objects of Supposition in the Arts and Sciences [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce a suppositional view of linguistic practice that ranges over fiction, science, and mathematics. While having similar con- sequences to some other views, in particular Linsky and Zalta’s plenitudinous platonism, the view ...

ABSTRACT The emerging concept of Hubs for Circularity (H4Cs) presents an opportunity to create collaborative, self‐sustaining regional industrial ecosystems that drive circular economy transitions at scale. However, the operationalisation of H4Cs faces financial, organisational and data‐driven challenges.

Cu(II)‐based two‐dimensional coordination networks constructed from bis(imidazolyl)benzene ligands show how subtle changes in counteranion identity modulate layer geometry, stacking, and stability. Single‐crystal structures combined with bulk syntheses reveal distinct packing efficiencies and framework responses to humidity, vacuum, and temperature for

Platonic Dispositionalism [PDF]
In this paper I argue that if one subscribes to dispositionalism — the view that natural properties are irreducibly dispositional in character — then one ought to favour a Platonic view of properties. That is, dispositionalists ought to view properties as transcendent universals. I argue for this on the grounds that only with transcendent universals in

The lithium enediamide complex 2 with intrinsically inverted C–N bond polarity combines strong basicity with unusual reactivity: deprotonation of malonates enables C–C bond formation without electron transfer. Depending on malonate substitution, electrophilic substitution or addition occurs at the enediamide CC bond.

This work provides new findings on the effect of fluorination on the substitution of TPE derivatives and the modulation of the structure and fluorescence properties of hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) of F‐CBPE. ABSTRACT Fluorination of building block molecules is one of the effective engineering approaches to modulate molecular assembly in ...
