A revised catalogue of the Platygastridae of the British Isles (Hymenoptera: Platygastroidea)
About 260 species of Platygastridae are listed from the British Isles. Forty-seven species and one genus are recorded as new to the UK. Fourteen new synonymies are proposed: Amblyaspis roboris (Haliday in Walker, 1835) = A. lasiophila lasiophila Kieffer, 1913 syn. nov.; Amblyaspis scelionoides (Haliday, 1835) = A. fuscicornis Thomson, 1859 syn.

Scelionidae and Platygastridae (Hymenoptera: Platygastroidea) of India
2019Scelionidae are idiobiont endoparasitoids exclusively attacking the eggs of diverse insect groups like Lepidoptera, Heteroptera, Diptera, Coleoptera, Mantodea, Neuroptera, as well as araneomorph spiders. Both Platygastridae and Scelionidae were originally described by Haliday in 1833 and 1839, respectively.

Species of Platygastrinae (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae) obtained by litter sifting
New Zealand Entomologist, 2013Five new species of Platygastrinae (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae), endemic to New Zealand, are described: Amblyaspis pederseniana; Leptacis brachyptera; L. dolichoptera; L. schomannae; and Platygaster politiceps. Further records are given for seven recently described species of Platygastridae.
