International Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.This study investigates shampoo foam acoustics' impact on hair washing experience using binaural recordings and psychoacoustic analysis. Distinct foam sound profiles elicited varying emotional responses; early lathering induced negative emotions while later phases were positive.
