Influence of the initial composition on the phase equilibria in the case of the solid phase separation in binary alloy nanoparticles (exemplifying on the W-Cr system)

open access: yesФизико-химические аспекты изучения кластеров, наноструктур и наноматериалов, 2023
Due to a unique set of physico-chemical properties, nanoparticle-fabricated heavy tungsten pseudo-alloys with the ultrafine-grained structure have become an object of a strong interest among researchers in the case of the up-to-date additive powder ...

Stellar Spins in the Pleiades, Praesepe, and M35 Open Clusters [PDF]

open access: yesAstrophysical Journal, 2021
We analyze spectroscopic and photometric data to determine the projected inclinations of stars in three open clusters: the Pleiades, Praesepe, and M35.

Very High-Resolution Satellite-Derived Bathymetry and Habitat Mapping Using Pleiades-1 and ICESat-2

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
Accurate and reliable bathymetric data are needed for a wide diversity of marine research and management applications. Satellite-derived bathymetry represents a time saving method to map large shallow waters of remote regions compared to the current ...

JOINT SUPER-RESOLUTION AND IMAGE RESTORATION FOR PLÉIADES NEO IMAGERY

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2022
. Modern Earth Observation optical satellite systems, such as Airbus’s Pleiades Neo (PNeo) push the boundaries of high spatial resolution by providing commercial imagery products with up to 30cm ground sampling distance (GSD).

The one that got away: a unique eclipse in the young brown dwarf Roque 12

open access: yesThe Open Journal of Astrophysics, 2020
We report the discovery of a deep, singular eclipse of the bona fide brown dwarf Roque 12, a substellar member of the Pleiades. The eclipse was 0.6mag deep, lasted 1.3h, and was observed with two telescopes simultaneously in October 2002.

Automation of Pan-Sharpening Methods for Pléiades Images Using GIS Basic Functions

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
Pan-sharpening methods allow the transfer of higher resolution panchromatic images to multispectral ones concerning the same scene. Different approaches are available in the literature, and only a part of these approaches is included in remote sensing ...

LEARNING HARMONISED PLEIADES AND SENTINEL-2 SURFACE REFLECTANCES [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2021
In this paper, we investigate the use of machine-learning techniques in order to produce harmonised surface reflectances between Sentinel-2 and Pleiades images, and reduce the impact of the differences in sensors, view conditions, and atmospheric ...

Wide Binaries in the Pleiades [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1979
The number and distribution of visual binaries in the Pleiades agree with the frequencies in the solar neighbourhood, except for an apparent deficiency of systems with faint secondaries. A full account of the work is scheduled to appear in Astrophysics and Space Science.
