Concurrent pleomorphic adenoma in parapharyngeal space and submandibular gland [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Pleomorphic adenoma in the parapharyngeal space either occurs de novo or as an extension from the deep lobe of the parotid gland. CASE PRESENTATION: A rare synchronous occurrence of pleomorphic adenoma in the parapharyngeal space and ...

Pleomorphic Adenoma Of The Larynx
Pleomorphic adenoma (PA) is the most common benign neoplasm of the salivary glands. It usually occurs in major salivary glands, such as the parotid and submandibular glands. Occasionally, however, it occurs in the larynx. These lesions generally present as a slow-growing, painless mass. Malignant transformation is very rare, but it increases with time.

Pleomorphic adenoma of the cheek: a case presentation
Background Pleomorphic adenoma, also known as a benign mixed tumor, is the most common salivary gland tumor. The parotid gland accounts for 90% of the total, with the minor salivary glands accounting for 10%.

Pleomorphic structural imperfections caused by pulsed Bi-implantation in the bulk and thin-film morphologies of TiO2 [PDF]
The results of combined experimental and theoretical study of substitutional and clustering effects in Bi-doped TiO2 hosts (bulk and thin-film morphologies) are presented. Bi-doping of the bulk and thin-film titanium dioxide was made with help of pulsed ion-implantation (E(Bi+) = 30 keV, D = 1 * 1017 cm-2) without posterior tempering.

Pitfalls in Cytodiagnosis of Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Nasal Septum - A Rare Case Report [PDF]
Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common benign mixed tumor of major salivary gland. Ectopic occurrence of pleomorphic adenoma are seen in minor salivary glands of pharynx, trachea, larynx and very rarely in nasal septum.

Carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma: a case report and review of literature
Background Carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma (CA-ex-PA) is extremely unusual in minor salivary glands of oral cavity. CAex-PA is a carcinomatous change as a primary or as a recurrence of pleomorphic adenoma.

An Account of Roman Surgical Treatments for Ozena: Historical Review
This historical study investigates ancient Roman surgical techniques for treating ozena as described by Celsus, with a focus on its historical and etymological context. Independent translation and archaeological evidence contextualize two ancient procedures: closed nasal cauterization using a heated probe and an open approach involving dissection and ...

Automated Scoring of Nuclear Pleomorphism Spectrum with Pathologist-level Performance in Breast Cancer [PDF]
Nuclear pleomorphism, defined herein as the extent of abnormalities in the overall appearance of tumor nuclei, is one of the components of the three-tiered breast cancer grading. Given that nuclear pleomorphism reflects a continuous spectrum of variation, we trained a deep neural network on a large variety of tumor regions from the collective knowledge
