Pleomorphic liposarcoma [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Pleomorphic liposarcoma is the rarest and the most aggressive type of liposarcoma which most commonly arises in proximal extremities. It is rare in general population, with a higher incidence in older age. We present a case of a 65-year-old patient with a tumor-related change localized in the medial proximal area of the left femur.

Primary pleomorphic liposarcoma of pericardium [PDF]

open access: yesInteractive CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery, 2010
We report a case of a 42-year-old man, who presented with a three-weeks' history of dyspnea and chest oppression induced by light activity, who had a large mass in the pericardium. Computed tomography showed a non-homogeneous density lobulated mass in the pericardial sac.

Ultrastructural observations in pleomorphic liposarcoma [PDF]

open access: yesCancer, 1978
An ultrastructural study of pleomorphic liposarcoma with an unusual clinical presentation is described. A 69-year-old Caucasian female presented with recurrent superficial phlebitis of left leg, which responded only partially to conventional therapy. Following investigations, a mass was excised.
