CT appearances of talc pleurodesis
Clinical Radiology, 2007To report the computed tomography (CT) appearances of talc pleurodesis in the management of patients with pleural effusions and spontaneous pneumothorax.The post-pleurodesis CT studies of 16 patients obtained over a 5-year period were reviewed. The mean age was 63 years (range 41-79 years). Ten patients were male.

Pleurodesis for primary spontaneous pneumothorax
The Lancet, 2013Jin-Shing Chen and colleagues (April 13, p 1277) report a lower rate of pneumothorax recurrence using minocycline pleurodesis after simple aspiration of primary spontaneous pneumothorax. However their analysis included any radiological pneumothorax in the fi rst few weeks after catheter removal as a recurrence.
