Pleurodesis With Polidocanol in Pigs
Chest, 1994Polidocanol was instilled in five pleural cavities of three pigs. Adhesions formed in all. Adhesion distribution varied from covering a minor part to most of the lung, depending on the amount of polidocanol. One control cavity treated with sodium chloride was unaffected.

Clinical Radiology, 2007To report the computed tomography (CT) appearances of talc pleurodesis in the management of patients with pleural effusions and spontaneous pneumothorax.The post-pleurodesis CT studies of 16 patients obtained over a 5-year period were reviewed. The mean age was 63 years (range 41-79 years). Ten patients were male.
