Optimal pleurodesis: A comparison study
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 1993With the resurgence of thoracoscopy, there is renewed interest in less invasive methods of pleurodesis. We wished to compare in an animal model a variety of methods suggested in reports. The purpose of the study was to rank the effectiveness of each procedure against the standard mechanical pleurodesis.

CT appearances of talc pleurodesis
Clinical Radiology, 2007To report the computed tomography (CT) appearances of talc pleurodesis in the management of patients with pleural effusions and spontaneous pneumothorax.The post-pleurodesis CT studies of 16 patients obtained over a 5-year period were reviewed. The mean age was 63 years (range 41-79 years). Ten patients were male.
