Effect of Ploughing Depth, Tractor Forward Speed, and Plough Types on the Fuel Consumption and Tractor Performance

open access: yesPolytechnic Journal, 2019
Cost of fuel has a significant impact on the input costs of agricultural production, especially during primary tillage. It is affected by several parameters including tractor forward speed, depths of ploughing, and plough types.

Effect of fragmentation and pacing at spot ploughing on dry soils [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2019
Seedbed preparation to achieve desired aggregate size requires many tillage operations when performed on dry soil. A very common implement used for the initial operation is the moldboard plough, subsequent passes may include disk, chisel ploughs ...

Combinatorial targeting of G‐protein‐coupled bile acid receptor 1 and cysteinyl leukotriene receptor 1 reveals a mechanistic role for bile acids and leukotrienes in drug‐induced liver injury

open access: yesHepatology, EarlyView., 2022
CHIN117 is a dual cysteinyl leukotriene receptor 1 (CYSLTR1) antagonist and G‐protein‐coupled bile acid receptor 1 (GPBAR1) agonist. In the liver, GPBAR1 and CYSLTR1 are coexpressed by liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs), HSCs, circulating monocytes/macrophages, and liver resident macrophages (Kupffer cells).

The effect of buried fibres on offshore pipeline plough performance [PDF]

open access: yesOcean Engineering, 2015
Ploughing is a technique often used to bury offshore pipelines in the seabed. During this process the operator must ensure that a sufficiently deep, level trench is produced while towing the plough with the available bollard pull of a suitable trenching support vessel.

Changes in the weed communities as affected by different primary soil tillage and deep loosening

open access: yesActa Agriculturae Scandinavica. Section B, Soil and Plant Science, 2018
Long-term soil cultivation at the same depth affects soil characteristics and crop productivity. The aim of the study was to investigate the impact of a long-term different intensity soil tillage methods and deep loosening on weed number, weed ...

Effects of Different Main Soil Tillage Methods on The Vertical Distribution of Sunflower Seeds in The Soil Layer and Plant Development

open access: yesYüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Tarim Bilimleri Dergisi, 2021
The investigation was carried out on slightly leached chernozem soil type during 2014 – 2016. The effects of different soil tillage methods for sunflower on the vertical distribution of the seeds in the soil layer and the development of the plants were ...

Residue cover, soil structure, weed infestation and spring cereal yields as affected by tillage and straw management on three soils in Norway

open access: yesActa Agriculturae Scandinavica. Section B, Soil and Plant Science, 2017
Four field trials (spring wheat and oats) were conducted (one on clay soil, one on loam soil and two on silt soil) for three years in important cereal growing districts, to investigate the influence of tillage regimes (ploughing versus reduced tillage in

Analysis of force effects measured in the tractor three-point linkage

open access: yesResearch in Agricultural Engineering, 2011
The work is focused on description of tractor individual axels and wheels loading during ploughing. A combination of tractor inclination with force and momentum effects need not always result in marked differences in the load of driving wheels.
