Tailoring MXene Flake Morphology via Aerosol Jet Printing for Biological and Strain Sensor Applications

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Aerosol Jet Printing (AJP), coupled with a novel in situ monitoring method, enabled the controlled fabrication of aligned and crumpled Ti3C2Tx MXenes for diverse applications. Demonstrated across multiple 2D materials, this scalable strategy stablishes flake morphology as a controllable design parameter for engineering application‐specific material ...

Enhancing Coherence Length in Tailored Chiral Hybrid Polymer‐Wrapped Single‐Walled Carbon Nanotube Superstructures

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Conductance measurements demonstrate a fivefold enhancement in phase coherence length in a specially designed chiral polymer‐wrapped metallic single‐walled carbon nanotube (m‐SWNT) superstructure, relative to the corresponding achiral m‐SWNT benchmark.

Scalable Room‐Temperature Terahertz Graphene Cameras

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Terahertz (THz) imaging has emerged as a powerful tool for non‐destructive, label‐free analysis across several scientific disciplines, ranging from materials science to biomedical research. By capturing the spatial‐dependent information in a broad range of frequencies, this technique enables the identification of chemical composition ...

Fusion Energy and Tritium Fuel Cycle: Hydrogen Isotope Separation Technologies and Sorbent Materials

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
This review surveys sorbent‐based materials for hydrogen isotope separation, a key challenge in fusion fuel processing. Different types of adsorbents are compared in terms of selectivity, kinetics, and operational practicality. Limitations of cryogenic operation and tritium compatibility are highlighted, providing guidance toward efficient, low tritium
