Groundwater levels time series sensitivity to pluviometry and air temperature: a geostatistical approach to Sfax region, Tunisia

Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, 2013
In this paper, the pattern of groundwater level fluctuations is investigated by statistical techniques for 24 monitoring wells located in an unconfined coastal aquifer in Sfax (Tunisia) for a time period from 1997 to 2006. Firstly, a geostatistical study is performed to characterize the temporal behaviors of data sets in terms of variograms and to make

ANALYSE DE L’INFLUENCE DES PARAMETRES METEOROLOGIQUES SUR LA PLUVIOMETRIE A KINSHASA

Journal Africain des Sciences
The understanding of meteorological parameters influencing rainfall is essential to effectively address environmental challenges and anticipate the consequences of extreme weather events. In this study, we analyze meteorological data provided by the Airways Authority of Kinshasa (RVA), covering the period from 1992 to 2019.

[This influence of pluviometry on pesticide contamination of rainwater and atmosphere]

2002
Contamination of rainwater by pesticides was investigated by analyzing samples from 5 locations in Brittany (France). These sites were chosen on the basis of various characteristics including agricultural practices around the site, the direction of prevailing winds (west to east) and the proximity to heavily populated areas.
