Increased Risk of Allergic Rhinitis Among Coal Mine Workers: A Cross‐Sectional Study
This is the first observational study estimating the associations between occupational/environmental factors in coal mines and asthma and AR among adults in a northern city in China. This study found that a longer work duration of occupational exposure in mining settings conferred a significantly increased risk of AR.

Defining Scales of Field Studies and Experiments to Assess Marine Cloud Brightening
Abstract Solar radiation modification (SRM) is being discussed as a potential option for addressing climate risks while atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations are reduced to lower levels. However, understanding of the potential efficacy, impacts, benefits and harms of different SRM approaches remains limited.

PM10 AIR QUALITY INDEX MODELING USING ARFIMA-GARCH METHOD: BUNDARAN HI AREA OF DKI JAKARTA PROVINCE
Air quality is an essential factor in urban life, and its’ assessment often relies on the concentration of measurable air pollution parameters. One critical parameter is Particulate Matter (PM), particularly PM10, which comprises solid or liquid ...

Abstract Rapid urbanization has historically been linked to escalating air pollution, yet the environmental consequences of urban shrinkage—a growing global trend of population decline and economic downturn—remain underexplored. While theory suggests shrinkage might alleviate pollution through reduced anthropogenic activities, empirical evidence on the

Comparison of Ground-Based PM2.5 and PM10 Concentrations in China, India, and the U.S.
Urbanization and industrialization have spurred air pollution, making it a global problem. An understanding of the spatiotemporal characteristics of PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations (particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than 2.5 μm and 10

ABSTRACT The powdery mildew fungus Erysiphe quercicola (Erysiphaceae) has a complex taxonomic history that has long complicated assessments of its geographic distribution and host associations. Although knowledge of the global host range of this species has expanded substantially over the past two decades, sequencing‐confirmed records from North ...

Abstract Magnetic nanoparticles (NPs) are increasingly recognized as an emerging threat to ecosystems and human health, yet their mass concentrations and sources in urban atmosphere remain poorly characterized. Here, we developed a robust methodology for the extraction, quantification, and source apportionment of magnetic NPs in urban PM2.5.
