Abstract The Magallanes‐Fagnano fault (MFF) in Tierra del Fuego (TDF) is a major left‐lateral transform boundary between the South American and Scotia plates. While surface ruptures associated with the 1949 earthquakes have been documented in Argentina east of the Fagnano Lake, their extension to the west remained uncertain.

Antimicrobial Resistance of Serratia marcescens Recovered From Aquatic Environments: A Review

Serratia marcescens is a gram‐negative bacillus forming biofilms and showing multidrug resistance. Review (2019–2024) included 13 studies, 90 aquatic isolates. High resistance to β‐lactams, including carbapenems. Genes: blaOXA‐48, blaTEM‐1, aac(6′)‐Ic. Aquatic environments are reservoirs, requiring monitoring and control to prevent spread.
