Robust Speech Recognition Based on Mixed Histogram Transform and Asymmetric Noise Suppression

open access: yesMajlesi Journal of Electrical Engineering
This paper proposes a new feature extraction algorithm which is robust against noise using histogram compensation and asymmetric filter. Temporal masking would be provided to improve ASR systems specifically in matched and multistyle training conditions.

Genomics-Guided Analysis of NAD Recycling Yields Functional Elucidation of COG1058 as a New Family of [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We have recently identified the enzyme NMN deamidase (PncC), which plays a key role in the regeneration of NAD in bacteria by recycling back to the coenzyme the pyridine by-products of its non redox consumption.

Development of Percolative Structure in Piezoresistive Polyisoprene-Nanostructured Carbon Composite [PDF]

open access: yes
Certain attention has been converted to polyisoprene-nanostructured carbon composites (PNCC) as prospective piezoresistive materials for use in pressure sensing applications or as a tactile element in robotics. Recent research approved that vulcanization
