On The Morphology and Internal Kinematics of PNE
Symposium - International Astronomical Union, 1997The study of the morphology of planetary nebula (PN) is fundamental for addressing several questions in the context of stellar evolution. An AGB star can loose most of its mass due to strong stellar winds. Kwok et al. (1978) proposed that the interaction of a low-density fast wind with a high-density slow wind, will form the PN.

Several studies found high prevalence rates of psychiatric disorders in patients with pure psychogenic nonepileptic seizures (PNES). Traumatic experiences were also reported to be elevated in patients with PNES and were discussed as a crucial risk factor for the development of PNES.

This guide devotes a whole section to the diagnosis of pediatric PNES because this process is challenging. In fact, the diagnosis is often missed, and the average time it takes for the diagnosis to be confirmed is 6 months to 3.5 years. The longer it takes to reach a diagnosis and begin treatment, the worse the outcome is.

Psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES)
Revue Neurologique, 2016Psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) are defined as change in behavior or consciousness resembling epileptic seizures but which have a psychological origin. PNES are categorized as a manifestation of dissociative or somatoform (conversion) disorders. Video-EEG recording of an event is the gold standard for diagnosis.

Psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) are a disease concept that is defined by the nuance of "not" epilepsy. In cases where it is unclear from the electroencephalogram alone whether the patient has epilepsy or PNES, even though the seizure pattern and course may be considered as "non-epileptic," those who are not familiar with the treatment of ...

PNE: The Key to Chemical Evolution in BCDGs
Astrophysics and Space Science, 2002Planetary Nebulae have proven to be an essential key to understand the long term chemical enrichment of the interstellar medium due to low mass stars. They allow to study the original abundances of the star, and the effect of the star on the interstellar medium.
