Diaphragmatic pneumocele terminating artificial pneumoperitoneum treatment

Summary The complication of diaphragmatic pneumocele noted by radiography during pneumoperitoneum treatment is described, and the possible factors in its causation are mentioned. It is considered that the occurrence of this complication is an indication for immediate withdrawal of air from the pneumoperitoneum and the termination of this treatment.
