A physically-based model of the ionizing radiation from active galaxies for photoionization modeling
We present a simplified model of Active Galactic Nucleus (AGN) continuum emission designed for photoionization modeling. The new model {\sc oxaf} reproduces the diversity of spectral shapes that arise in physically-based models.

Galaxy Evolution: Modeling the Role of Non-thermal Pressure in the Interstellar medium [PDF]
Galaxy evolution depends strongly on the physics of the interstellar medium (ISM). Motivated by the need to incorporate the properties of the ISM in cosmological simulations we construct a simple method to include the contribution of non-thermal ...

Abstract Autoimmune encephalitis is a group of disorders characterized by symptoms of dysfunction of the limbic and extra‐limbic systems that occur in association with antibodies against intracellular antigens, synapses, or proteins located on the surface of nerve cells. Anti‐NMDA (N‐methyl‐D‐aspartate) receptor encephalitis was first described in 2007

Limit theorems for coupled interval maps
We prove a local limit theorem for Lipschitz continuous observables on a weakly coupled lattice of piecewise expanding interval maps. The core of the paper is a proof that the spectral radii of the Fourier-transfer operators for such a system are ...

ABSTRACT The lack of a common variable for comparison has been a major obstacle to the development of Comparative Public Administration (CPA). State autonomy enables an integrative contextualization approach, allowing both the analysis of contextual individual country experiences and the generation of generalized comparable knowledge.

Pesticide use in integrated pest and pollinator management framework to protect pollinator health
Integrated pest management (IPM) emphasizes non‐chemical methods, with pesticides as a last resort, while integrated pest and pollinator management (IPPM) integrates pollinator health into pest control strategies. Abstract Agricultural pesticides have historically been a critical tool in controlling pests and diseases, preventing widespread suffering ...

In complicated scenarios, due to the low precision of float solutions and poor reliability of fixed solutions, it is challenging to achieve a balance between accuracy and reliability of the integer least squares (ILS) estimation. To address this dilemma,

Abstract The demand for information about property‐scale natural capital is growing rapidly as producers and supply chains respond to opportunities and pressures to report environmental performance information. Natural Capital Accounting offers promise but agreed methods for farm‐scale accounts are currently lacking.
