Heterogeneous processes in the Po Valley radiation fog
Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, 1988The heterogeneous processes responsible for fog water chemical composition are examined in this paper. SO2/SO4= and NOx/HNO3/NO3− systems have been particularly investigated for their role in the production of acidity within the dispersed liquid phase.

Summer daily circulation in the Po Valley, Italy
Geophysical & Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics, 1981Abstract Surface wind data from a network of stations located in the Po Valley, Italy, have been analysed in order to investigate the features of the local circulation during summer, under synoptic conditions of weak pressure gradients. The up-valley wind appears to be closely coupled with the sea-land breeze in the eastern part of the valley.
