ASPECTOS ANATÔMICOS DA FOLHA DE PODOCARPUS LAMBERTII KLOTZSCH (PODOCARPACEAE)

Sitientibus, 2023

Are hemicelluloses from Podocarpus lambertii typical of gymnosperms?

Carbohydrate Polymers, 2003
Abstract Podocarpus lambertii, a Podocarpaceae, is a member of the most diverse family of conifers and Araucaria angustifolia, which belongs to the Araucariaceae family, is a typical gymnosperm from Southern Brazil. A structural characterisation of their hemicelluloses was carried out.

Phylogeography and species distribution modeling reveal a historic disjunction for the conifer Podocarpus lambertii

Tree Genetics & Genomes, 2020
Phylogeography and species distribution models (SDMs) were integrated to test the hypothesis that the current disjunct distribution of Podocarpus lambertii, a cold-tolerant species, preserves the signature of Quaternary climatic oscillations, revealing historical barriers to gene flow. Twenty-five populations (286 individuals) of P.

Population dynamics of Podocarpus lambertii in southern Brazilian forest–grassland mosaics

Canadian Journal of Forest Research, 2019
The grasslands conversion to forests is occurring globally and modifying the population dynamics of species. Here, we characterized the population dynamics of Podocarpus lambertii Klotzsch ex Endl. over four years in southern Brazilian forest–grassland mosaics. We asked (i) if the studied P.

Somatic Embryogenesis of Brazilian Conifer Podocarpus lambertii Klotzsch ex Endl.

2018
P. lambertii is a Brazilian conifer indigenous to one of the 25 biodiversity hotspots of the world, the subtropical moist forest ecoregion of the Atlantic Forest Biome. Its conservation status is classified as near threatened, being desirable the development and use of biotechnological tools, such as somatic embryogenesis (SE).

Efeitos de diferentes espécies pioneiras sobre a colonização de Podocarpus lambertii em uma área em restauração

Neotropical Biology and Conservation, 2010
Biotic interactions between pioneer and late-successional species may affect the spatial arrangement of the individuals in plant communities resulting in positive or negative patterns of association. Studies that analyze the plant colonization patterns in areas of natural forest regeneration are important to ecological restoration projects.

Retrospective analysis of competition in a forest remnant: A case study of Podocarpus lambertii in the Araucaria Forest

Dendrochronologia, 2016
Abstract The understanding of tree growth pattern under competition in natural forests is important to support strategies and actions of forest management. The objective of this study was to evaluate the retrospective growth and competition among trees of Araucaria Forest remnants in south Brazil.
