Global Change Biology Communications, Volume 1, Issue 3, September 2026.We show that impacts of agriculture on arthropod biodiversity are notably less negative in Europe than in other regions, which we find is driven by a degraded baseline, a selection bias of reference sites, and novel species compositions in agriculture that favour widespread habitat generalists and non‐native species.
