Abstract Robert Frost’s poetry emphasized the sound of language and observation of people and places. He wrote his greatest poem, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening,” at age 48. T. S. Eliot’s highly conceptual poetry was filled with quotations and allusions. He wrote his most famous poem, The Waste Land, at age 34.
