Lead‐Free Cesium Metal Halide Perovskite via Solvent‐Free Mechanosynthesis Route

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This study developed a rapid, solvent‐free ball milling method to synthesize lead‐free Cs3MnX5 perovskites (X = Br, Cl, I, or mixtures) in minutes at room temperature, without purification. Optimized milling conditions also produced Zn‐doped variants (Cs3Mn1‐xZnxX5) with enhanced moisture/thermal stability.
