Self‐improving property for certain degenerate functionals with generalized Orlicz growth
Abstract We investigate a self‐improving property of variational integrals in a weighted framework under generalized Orlicz growth conditions. Assuming that the weight belongs to an appropriate Muckenhoupt class and the growth function satisfies standard structural conditions, we prove that the gradient of any local quasi‐minimizer has local higher ...

Low eigenvalues of the p$p$–Laplacian in general open sets
Abstract We consider the minmax Ljusternik–Schnirelmann levels of the constrained p$p$–Dirichlet integral on a general open set of the Euclidean space. We show that, whenever one of these levels lies below the threshold given by the Lp$L^p$ Poincaré constant “at infinity,” it actually defines an eigenvalue of the Dirichlet p$p$–Laplacian. We also prove

Syntomic cohomology and real topological cyclic homology
Abstract We define motivic filtrations on real topological Hochschild homology and its companions. In particular, we prove that real topological cyclic homology admits a natural complete filtration whose graded pieces are equivariant suspensions of syntomic cohomology.

AdS Carroll Structures from Poincaré Isomorphism: Asymptotic Symmetry Analysis [PDF]
Starting from the isomorphism between the AdS Carroll and Poincaré algebras, we map the three-dimensional asymptotically flat solutions of Poincaré gravity into an AdS Carroll spacetime.

Lefschetz decompositions of Kudla–Millson theta functions
Abstract In the 1980s Kudla and Millson introduced a theta function in two variables. It behaves as a Siegel modular form with respect to the first variable, and is a closed differential form on an orthogonal Shimura variety X$X$ with respect to the other variable. We prove that the Lefschetz decomposition of the cohomology class of that theta function

Weak Solutions for a Class of Nonlocal Singular Problems Over the Nehari Manifold
ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider a nonlocal model of dilatant non‐Newtonian fluid with a Dirichlet boundary condition. By using the Nehari manifold and fibering map methods, we obtain the existence of at least two weak solutions, with sign information.

A planar chiral plasmonic nanoantenna is shown to translate the changing handedness of circularly polarized excitation into deterministic switching of a nanoscale hot spot with maximal dissymmetry and complete modulation depth. Coupling an achiral quantum emitter to the nanogap simultaneously enables circularly polarized emission of near‐maximal purity,
