OBJECT-BASED CLASSIFICATION OF URBAN AIRBORNE LIDAR POINT CLOUDS WITH MULTIPLE ECHOES USING SVM [PDF]
Airborne LiDAR point clouds classification is meaningful for various applications. In this paper, an object-based analysis method is proposed to classify the point clouds in urban areas. In the process of classification, outliers in the point clouds are

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Automatic Registration of TLS-TLS and TLS-MLS Point Clouds Using a Genetic Algorithm
Registration of point clouds is a fundamental issue in Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) remote sensing because point clouds scanned from multiple scan stations or by different platforms need to be transformed to a uniform coordinate reference frame ...

Demonstrating Vibrational Current Generation With a Self‐Assembled Bioelectret
Vacuum‐deposited films of the plant‐derived molecule, Baicalein, form a self‐assembled bioelectret exhibiting spontaneous orientation polarization and a giant surface potential. The films induce alternating current during the vibration of a movable electrode without charging treatments. Hydrocarbon protection enhances the air stability of the Baicalein

A Multi-Stage Outlier Removal Method for Point Clouds with High Outlier Ratio
Point clouds acquired by LiDAR typically contain a large number of outliers, which can substantially degrade downstream processing. Existing outlier removal methods suffer from significant performance degradation on point clouds with high outlier ratios.

Ferroelectric nanoclusters create local internal fields in a normally non‐switchable polar film because of polarization mismatch at their interfaces. That field opposes polarization in the regions with larger polarization and reinforces polarization in the regions with smaller polarization.

Stochastically Generated Digital Twins of 3D Solid‐State Electrolyte Architecture
A stochastic model and validation suite were developed to produce the highest fidelity computer‐generated (Digital Twin) microstructures of random porous tape‐cast solid‐state battery architectures across µm to mm feature sizes from FIB‐SEM to X‐Ray µCT, respectively.

Electroforming‐free TiN/SiOx/Cu/SiOx/TiN memristive devices exploit pancake‐like Cu nanoparticles embedded in a SiOx double layer to create a heterogeneous Schottky‐barrier landscape. Under bias, oxygen‐vacancy redistribution progressively lowers local barriers and recruits initially inactive Cu‐PC pathways into a parallel conduction ensemble, enabling

A Weakly Supervised Vehicle Detection Method from LiDAR Point Clouds [PDF]
Training LiDAR point clouds object detectors requires a significant amount of annotated data, which is time-consuming and effort-demanding. Although weakly supervised 3D LiDAR-based methods have been proposed to reduce the annotation cost, their ...
