Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...

Cohomological aspects of equivariant deformation theory
Deformation theory in its modern form arose from the work of Kunihiko Kodaira and Donald C. Spencer on complex analytic manifolds. The methods applied by Kodaira and Spencer have been later on translated by Alexander Grothendieck into the language of ...

A Knowledge‐Based Approach for Understanding and Managing Additive Manufacturing Data
Additive manufacturing processes generate a large amount of data. Effectively managing, understanding, and retrieving information from this data remains a major challenge. Therefore, we propose an ontology‐based approach to integrate heterogeneous data, enable semantic queries, and support decision‐making.

A Point-Theory of Morphogenesis
Building on earlier work with generalised conic sections, we use the superformula to introduce ultra-flexibility instead of rigidity as encoded in the geometry of Euclid and Descartes.

Performance Analysis of Abradable Coating Systems for Aircraft Gas Turbines
Three CoNiCrAlY/YSZ/MgAl2O4 abradable liner configurations on a nickel‐superalloy are evaluated by thermal‐gradient cycling and incursion tests. Laser ablation of the bondcoat and/or Y2O3‐stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) intermediate layer increases mechanical interlocking and bonding for thick topcoats.

Geometry of Control-Affine Systems
Motivated by control-affine systems in optimal control theory, we introduce the notion of a point-affine distribution on a manifold X – i.e., an affine distribution F together with a distinguished vector field contained in F.

Some Results on Point-Line Trajectories in Lorentz 3-space
In this paper, we study curvature theory of point-line trajectories in Lorentz 3-space. We give the characterization by indicatrix, directrix and their relationship in Lorentz 3-space.

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

A finite geometry of twenty-five points
This thesis has taken an axiomatic system for a finite geometry with a five-point line, introduced definitions of various familiar figures and relationships, and determined properties of the figures in this system.
