Pedal Curves of the Mixed-Type Curves in the Lorentz-Minkowski Plane

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
In this paper, we consider the pedal curves of the mixed-type curves in the Lorentz–Minkowski plane R12. The pedal curve is always given by the pseudo-orthogonal projection of a fixed point on the tangent lines of the base curve.

Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Advanced Planar Projection Contour (PPC): A Novel Algorithm for Local Feature Description in Point Clouds

open access: yesJournal of Imaging
Local feature description of point clouds is essential in 3D computer vision. However, many local feature descriptors for point clouds struggle with inadequate robustness, excessive dimensionality, and poor computational efficiency.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Oscillations of a System of Rigid Bodies Partially Filled with Viscous Fluids Under the Action of an Elastic Damping Device

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика", 2022
In this paper, we investigate the linearized two-dimensional problem on small motions of a system of rigid bodies partially filled with viscous incompressible fluids and connected in series by springs. The first and last bodies are attached by springs to

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Automatic Aluminum Alloy Surface Grinding Trajectory Planning of Industrial Robot Based on Weld Seam Recognition and Positioning

open access: yesActuators, 2023
In this paper, we propose a novel method for planning grinding trajectories on curved surfaces to improve the grinding efficiency of large aluminum alloy surfaces with welds and defect areas. Our method consists of three parts.
