PTFNet: Robotic-Relevant, Single-View Obstacle Footprint Estimation From Sparse and Incomplete Point Clouds

open access: yesIEEE Access
In order for robots to navigate successfully, they need to correctly estimate the traversability of their surroundings. To do so, an orthogonal projection of the spatial obstacles perceived by the robot’s sensors is usually utilized.

Ultrawide Bandwidth Optomechanical Magnetometry Using Flux Concentration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐permeability flux concentrators enable ultrawide‐bandwidth chip‐scale optomechanical magnetometry by exploiting magnetic nonlinearity to up‐convert low‐frequency fields to the mechanical resonance, where sensitivity is optimal. This enables flat wideband operation over more than four orders of magnitude, from tens of kilohertz to sub‐hertz ...

On some spaces of holomorphic functions of exponential growth on a half-plane

open access: yesConcrete Operators, 2016
In this paper we study spaces of holomorphic functions on the right half-plane R, that we denote by Mpω, whose growth conditions are given in terms of a translation invariant measure ω on the closed half-plane R.

Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.

From Geometry to Function: Programmable Mechanical Response in 3D‐Printed Adipose‐Inspired Soft Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Geometry‐driven design of soft cellular metamaterials is systematically investigated by combining experiments, finite element modeling, and statistical prediction. The study quantifies how unit cell geometry and material properties govern stiffness, instability, densification, and energy absorption.
