Polyhedral points, QP-points and Q-points
Rendiconti del Circolo Matematico di Palermo Series 2, 2023In the present paper the relation between polyhedral points, \(QP\)-points and \(Q\)-points of the unit sphere of a Banach space is studied. A Banach space is said to be polyhedral if the closed unit ball of every finite dimensional subspace is a polyhedron. According to [\textit{R.~Durier} and \textit{P.~L. Papini}, Rocky Mt. J. Point-to-Point Laser Metrology for POINTS
Space Optics for Astrophysics and Earth and Planetary Remote Sensing, 1988The Precision Optical INTerferometer in Space (POINTS) is an astrometric instrument comprising a metrology system and two starlight interferometers mounted at an angle ϕ ≈ 90 deg. This angle, which must be measured with an uncertainty small compared to the nominal instrument accuracy of 5 microarcseconds (μas), is determined by measuring the six ...

The chloroidal point and the copular point
The British Journal of Radiology, 1974Abstract The authors have attempted a more precise definition of the choroidal point in vertebral angiograms and have measured it in 61 normal cases, relating it to different lines. They also established the distance of the copular point from the clivus/IOP line.

A pointed look at the point-to-point protocol
IEEE Internet Computing, 1999While players like TCP and RSVP are usually considered the stars in the theater of Internet protocols, perhaps the most pervasive, extensible, underpublicized, and underappreciated protocol within the IP stack today is the point-to-point protocol (PPP). The author considers the basics of PPP.

Point-to-Point Telemedicine using the ISDN
Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare, 1996Two pilot telemedicine trials were established, one using basic-rate ISDN (minor injuries service) and one using primary-rate ISDN (remote fetal scanning). Preliminary results were most encouraging. In the first 10 months of operation, 49 patients with minor injuries were managed successfully using telemedicine.

“We paint as the bird sings”—said Monet enunciating what could be called the impressionist painters’ practical credo. Standing in front of their pictures we believe him. The Hungarian impressionist Rippl-Ronai supported this idea of “painting at once” with a historical argument referring to the frescoes of Masaccio or Fra Angelico. These are seen to be

Asynchronous Point-To-Point Communication
1998In the previous chapter one described two classes aimed at thread creation and concurrent execution. As far as threads are concerned, there is enough material in the Thread class for point-to-point synchronization and communication, which can be based on stop and schedule utilization (see Chapter 2).
