In this paper, we introduce a decode-and-forward multi-hop hybrid free-space optical/radio frequency (FSO/RF) system. The FSO link is assumed to follow Gamma-Gamma distribution with the combined effects of pointing errors and path loss under intensity ...

Modelling Error Rates in Temporal Pointing [PDF]
We present a novel model to predict error rates in temporal pointing. With temporal pointing, a target is about to appear within a limited time window for selection. Unlike in spatial pointing, there is no movement to control in the temporal domain; the user can only determine when to launch the response.

Secrecy performance of FSO communication systems with non‐zero boresight pointing errors
Free space optical (FSO) communication is a promising candidate for the next generation (5G and beyond) wireless communication systems, due to its merits (i.e. low latency, high data rate, and license‐free band, among others).

ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.

A General Model for Pointing Error of High Frequency Directional Antennas
This paper focuses on providing an analytical framework for the quantification and evaluation of the pointing error for a general case at high-frequency millimeter wave (mmWave) and terahertz (THz) communication links.

ABSTRACT Objectives The association between exposure to dinutuximab beta (DB) and event‐free survival (EFS) or overall survival (OS) of neuroblastoma patients was assessed using data collected during three clinical trials (five cohorts). Methods A systematic review (March 2026) was conducted to identify relevant studies (prospective; registered DB ...

ABSTRACT Background Survival after relapse in pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remains poor, highlighting the critical importance of identifying prognostic factors to guide optimal relapse management. Methods We investigated the prognostic impact of multiparameter flow cytometry (MFC) measurable residual disease (MRD) in 188 patients with first ...

Correction for pointing errors of Siberian Radioheliograph antennas
For radio interferometers, antenna pointing accuracy is critical, as deviations in the direction of the beam from the source not only reduce the signal level, but also lead to incorrect measurements of visibility phases.
