This is a survey paper on dendroids, smooth dendroids, and mainly on pointwise smooth dendroids based on the work of J. J. Charatonik and C. Eberhart (dendroids and smooth dendroids) and S. T. Czuba (pointwise smooth dendroids).

The paper presents a new type of density topology on the real line generated by the pointwise convergence, similarly to the classical density topology which is generated by the convergence in measure.

Pointwise Semicommutative Rings
We call a ring R pointwise semicommutative if for any element a in R either l(a) or r(a) is an ideal of R. A class of pointwise semicommutative rings is a strict generalization of semicommutative rings. Since reduced rings are pointwise semicommutative, this paper studies sufficient conditions for pointwise semicommutative rings to be reduced.

POINTWISE SLANT SUBMERSIONS [PDF]
Summary: The purpose of this paper is to study pointwise slant submersions from almost Hermitian manifolds which extends slant submersion in a natural way. Several basic results in this point of view are proven in this paper.

Groups of PL homeomorphisms of cubes [PDF]
We study algebraic properties of groups of PL or smooth homeomorphisms of unit cubes in any dimension, fixed pointwise on the boundary, and more generally PL or smooth groups acting on manifolds and fixing pointwise a submanifold of codimension 1 (resp ...

Local and global behaviour of nonlinear equations with natural growth terms [PDF]
This paper concerns a study of the pointwise behaviour of positive solutions to certain quasi-linear elliptic equations with natural growth terms, under minimal regularity assumptions on the underlying coefficients. Our primary results consist of optimal

Weak proximal normal structure and coincidence quasi-best proximity points
We introduce the notion of pointwise cyclic-noncyclic relatively nonexpansive pairs involving orbits. We study the best proximity point problem for this class of mappings.

Pointwise Remez inequality [PDF]
AbstractThe standard well-known Remez inequality gives an upper estimate of the values of polynomials on $$[-1,1]$$ [ - 1 , 1 ] if they are bounded by 1 on a subset of $$[-1,1]$$
