ABSTRACT Objectives Neoadjuvant chemoradiation for PDAC with vascular invasion remains understudied. The aim of this study is to compare neoadjuvant chemotherapy with chemoradiation (NAC + CRT) versus neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) for PDAC with vascular involvement.

We continue the study of algebraic difference equations of the type un+2un = ψ(un+1), which started in a previous paper. Here we study the case where the algebraic curves related to the equations are quartics Q(K) of the plane.

On rotational surfaces in pseudo-Euclidean space $\mathbb{E}^4_t$ with pointwise 1-type Gauss map
In this work, we study some classes of rotational surfaces in the pseudo-Euclidean space $\mathbb{E}^4_t$ with profile curves lying in 2-dimensional planes. First, we determine all such surfaces in the Minkowski 4-space $\mathbb{E}^4_1$ with pointwise 1-type Gauss map of the first kind and second kind. Then, we obtain rotational surfaces in $\mathbb{E}^

We estimated the distribution of the federally threatened wolverine (Gulo gulo) across the western United States in 2022, evaluated changes in distribution since 2017 (the last survey), and made inference on drivers of wolverine occurrence. This monitoring program and subsequent results are used by states to make management and conservation decisions ...

Intrinsically Design‐Rule‐Compliant Nanophotonic Inverse Design via Learned Generative Manifolds
A generative reparameterization framework for nanophotonic inverse design is introduced, restricting optimization to a learned manifold of design‐rule‐compliant geometries. Unlike conventional penalty‐based approaches, fabrication constraints are encoded intrinsically within the design representation.

Kernel Bounds for Parabolic Operators Having First‐Order Degeneracy at the Boundary
ABSTRACT We study kernel estimates for parabolic problems governed by singular elliptic operators ∑i,j=1N+1qijDij+cDyy,cγ+1>0,γ=qN+1,N+1,$$\begin{equation*} \sum _{i,j=1}^{N+1}q_{ij}D_{ij}+c\frac{D_y}{y},\qquad \frac{c}{\gamma }+1>0, \quad \gamma =q_{N+1,N+1}, \end{equation*}$$in the half‐space R+N+1={(x,y):x∈RN,y>0}$\mathbb {R}^{N+1}_+=\lbrace (x,y ...

A Test Function Method for Weakly Coupled Systems With Derivative‐Type Nonlinearity
ABSTRACT We consider a two by two system of inequalities which include fractional powers of the Laplace operator, coupled through a semilinear term of derivative type. We prove the nonexistence of global‐in‐time weak solutions for powers below the critical curve and possibly on the critical curve.

Regularity Estimates for Fully Nonlinear Dead‐Core Problems With a Hamiltonian Term
ABSTRACT In this paper, we present a problem involving fully nonlinear elliptic operators with Hamiltonian, which can present a singularity or degenerate as the gradient approaches the origin. The model studied here, allows the appearance of plateau zones, i.e., unknown regions of the domain in which the non‐negative solutions vanishes.

Purely Coclosed G2‐Structures on Nilmanifolds—II
ABSTRACT This paper completes the classification of seven‐dimensional nilpotent Lie groups endowed with a left‐invariant purely coclosed G2$\text{G}_2$‐structure, initiated in Bazzoni et al. [Mathematische Nachrichten 296 no. 6 (2023): 2236–2257], the authors provided the classification of decomposable seven‐dimensional nilpotent Lie groups and of the ...
