POINTWISE COMPLETENESS AND FUNCTIONAL CONTROLLABILITY OF LINEAR DELAY SYSTEMS
Kybernetes, 1986Summary: Necessary and sufficient conditions for pointwise completeness of linear delay systems are established. The relation between pointwise completeness and controllability to the origin is obtained. Functional controllability for such systems is also studied.

Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing, 2014
In the paper the positive linear continuous-time systems with different fractional orders described by homogeneous state equations are considered. Definition and necessary and sufficient conditions for the pointwise completeness and the pointwise degeneracy are given. The considerations are illustrated by examples.

Pointwise Completeness of Discrete-Time Cone-Systems with Delays
EUROCON 2007 - The International Conference on "Computer as a Tool", 2007Notion of P -cone system for discrete-time linear system with delays is introduced, where P is non-singular matrix generating the cone P. Definitions and necessary and sufficient conditions for the pointwise completeness of P -cone system are given. The considerations are illustrated by numerical examples computing in MATLAB.

On the Pointwise Completeness of Delay-Differential Systems of Neutral Type
SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 1976Necessary and sufficient conditions for pointwise completeness of delay-differential systems of neutral type are given. It is shown that there exist second order delay-differential systems of neutral type which are not pointwise complete. It is also proved that degeneracy in case of nth order delay-differential systems of neutral type with one delay ...

On pointwise complete pairs of linear transformations
Journal of Applied and Industrial Mathematics, 2011We prove the pointwise completeness of the order n system with constant coefficients under the assumption that the matrices of the system split into square blocks of the same size so that the collection of all blocks embeds into a finite dimensional associative division algebra; the block rank of the passive matrix is at most 2.

Effective conditions of pointwise completeness for linear delay systems
Journal of Applied and Industrial Mathematics, 2009A complete description is given of pointwise degenerate third- and fourth-order linear systems with constant coefficients. Some new sufficient effective conditions are found for the pointwise completeness of the nth-order systems whose matrices have the block triangular form.

Necessary and sufficient conditions of pointwise completeness at time t1 (i.e. no component of the n-dimensional state vector should be equal to zero at time i, for all possible choices of the initial functions) of any system of the form x(t)= Ax(t) + Bx(t-h) are given.

Pointwise Logic on Completely Distributive Lattices and Approximate Reasoning
2008 Fifth International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery, 2008In this paper, we propose the basic framework of point- wise topological logic on completely distributive lattices and explore approximate reasoning in it. The logic of this paper is based on pointwise characterization, therefore the pointwise conception is pervasive.
