Convergence of generalized sampling series in weighted spaces

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2022
The present paper deals with an extension of approximation properties of generalized sampling series to weighted spaces of functions. A pointwise and uniform convergence theorem for the series is proved for functions belonging to weighted spaces.

Pointwise convergence of some multiple ergodic averages [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We show that for every ergodic system $(X,\mu,T_1,\ldots,T_d)$ with commuting transformations, the average \[\frac{1}{N^{d+1}} \sum_{0\leq n_1,\ldots,n_d \leq N-1} \sum_{0\leq n\leq N-1} f_1(T_1^n \prod_{j=1}^d T_j^{n_j}x)f_2(T_2^n \prod_{j=1}^d T_j^{n_j}

Existence and Convergence Theorems of Best Proximity Points

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
The aim of this paper is to prove some best proximity point theorems for new classes of cyclic mappings, called pointwise cyclic orbital contractions and asymptotic pointwise cyclic orbital contractions.

A Survey on the Study of Generalized Schrödinger Operators along Curves

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
In this survey, we review the historical development for the Carleson problem about the a.e. pointwise convergence in five aspects: the a.e. convergence for generalized Schrödinger operators along vertical lines; a.e.

Spaces not distinguishing pointwise and $\mathcal{I}$-quasinormal convergence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
summary:In this paper we extend the notion of quasinormal convergence via ideals and consider the notion of $\mathcal{I}$-quasinormal convergence. We then introduce the notion of $\mathcal{I}QN (\mathcal{I}wQN)$ space as a topological space in which ...

Strict and pointwise convergence of BV functions in metric spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Consider a metric space X that is equipped with a doubling measure and supports a Poincare inequality. We show that if u i → u strictly in BV ( X ) , i.e. if u i → u in L 1 ( X ) and ‖ D u i ‖ ( X ) → ‖ D u ‖ ( X ) , then for a subsequence (not relabeled)

Pointwise convergence of Fejer type means

open access: yesTohoku Mathematical Journal, 1997
Let \(P\) be an \(n\)-dimensional compact, convex polyhedron in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) containing the origin in its interior. The authors define the \(n\)-dimensional polyhedral Fejér kernel either as the arithmetic mean of the Dirichlet kernel, or as (\(1/\text{card}(NP\cap \mathbb{Z}^n)\) times) the square of the Dirichlet kernel.

Pointwise-in-time a posteriori error control for time-fractional parabolic equations

open access: yes, 2021
For time-fractional parabolic equations with a Caputo time derivative of order α ∈ (0, 1), we give pointwise-in-time a posteriori error bounds in the spatial L2 and L∞ norms.

λ-Statistical Convergence of Sequences of Functions in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Normed Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces and Applications, 2012
We study λ-statistically convergent sequences of functions in intuitionistic fuzzy normed spaces. We define concept of λ-statistical pointwise convergence and λ-statistical uniform convergence in intuitionistic fuzzy normed spaces and we give some basic ...

$\lambda$-Statistical Pointwise and Uniform Convergence of Sequences of Functions on Neutrosophic Normed Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis
This insightful article examines the $\lambda$-statistical convergence of function sequences within neutrosophic norm spaces. It introduces novel concepts such as $\lambda$-statistical pointwise convergence and $\lambda$-statistical uniform convergence ...
