Noncyclic Meir-Keeler contractions and best proximity pair theorems
In this article, we consider the class of noncyclic Meir-Keeler contractions and study the existence and convergence of best proximity pairs for such mappings in the setting of complete CAT(0) spaces.

Pointwise convergence of Jacobi polynomials [PDF]
The goal of this thesis is to numerically study a pointwise Jacobi convergence theorem for piecewise analytic functions based on the theorem on Legendre error. The convergence rates were examined on the boundary, singularity, and interior points. Results

Driver Behavior Modeling with Subjective Risk‐Driven Inverse Reinforcement Learning
A subjective risk‐driven inverse reinforcement learning framework is proposed to model driver decision‐making. It infers drivers' risk perception and risk tolerance from driving data. A learnable risk threshold is used to regulate decisions, enabling interpretable and human‐like driving behavior decisions.

On the Generalized Baskakov Durrmeyer Operators
The main object of this paper is to construct Baskakov Durrmeyer type operators such that their construction depends on a function ρ. Using the weighted modulus of continuity, we show the uniform convergence of the operators. Moreover we obtain pointwise

The Pointwise convergence of Möbius maps
In 1957, G.~Piranian and W.~J.~Thron classified the possible limits of a pointwise convergent sequence of Möbius maps acting in the extended complex plane. In this paper, the author considers the problem for Möbius maps acting in higher dimensions. The following result is proved, where \(\mathbb R^k_\infty\) is the usual com\-pac\-ti\-fi\-ca\-ti\-on of

Some results in harmonic analysis related to pointwise convergence and maximal operators [PDF]
Pointwise convergence problems are of fundamental importance in harmonic analysis and studying the boundedness of associated maximal operators is the natural viewpoint from which to consider them.

Objective Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) is a small vessel vasculitis characterized by eosinophilia, asthma, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) involvement. Although glucocorticoids (GCs) are effective in controlling symptoms, relapses and GC dependence are common. The aim of this study was to develop predictive models for vasculitis

Multipliers of trigonometric series and pointwise convergence [PDF]
Introduction. In a recent paper M. Weiss and A. Zygmund [7] have studied the pointwise convergence of a trigonometric series a einx when the multipliers An= Injti (y real) are applied to it. The proof of their result makes use of Peano derivatives in LP, which bear a close connection with the tP classes of A. P. Calderon and A. Zygmund [1].

Machine learning‐assisted clone selection for intensified cell culture processes
Abstract Intensified fed‐batch processes are becoming increasingly prevalent among biomanufacturers due to their superior space–time yields relative to traditional, non‐intensified fed‐batch processes. However, the shift towards intensified manufacturing has unexpectedly made optimal clone selection more challenging.

On pointwise statistical convergence of order α of sequences of fuzzy mappings
In this paper, we introduce the concept of pointwise statistical convergence of order α of sequences of fuzzy mappings. Furthermore we give the concept of α-statistically Cauchy sequence for sequences of fuzzy mappings and prove that it is equivalent to ...
