Flame Propagation in Poiseuille Flow
39th Aerospace Sciences Meeting and Exhibit, 2001We describe flame propagation in a channel subject to a Poiseuille flow within the context of a thermo-diffusive model under (i) adiabatic conditions, and (ii) in the presence of conductive heat losses at the walls. The curved two-dimensional lfames examined may be either assisted or opposed by the flow.

Stability of Pipe Poiseuille Flow
The Physics of Fluids, 1968The stability of pipe Poiseuille flow with respect to linear azimuthally periodic disturbances is investigated. It is found that many radial modes of disturbance exist for each azimuthal periodicity. No linear instability is found for the mode sets with azimuthal periodicity of one.

Transient Poiseuille Flow Separation
The Physics of Fluids, 1971The time varying flow through a pipe is analyzed. Separation velocity profiles obtained under the influence of periodic pressure fluctuations were evaluated. These velocity profiles are compared with relaxed and unrelaxed separation concepts. It is found that a one parameter correlation is too limited to cover all possivle separation cases.

Asymptotic approach to hartmann-poiseuille flows
Journal of Computational Physics, 1969Abstract The steady state flow is considered of a viscous conducting liquid in the inlet region of a straight channel with or without a transverse magnetic field, particularly the rate of approach of the flow to the Hartmann-Poiseuille patterns downstream.

Upstream Diffusion in Hagen-Poiseuille Flow
The Physics of Fluids, 1961A theoretical study is described for steady state diffusion of a contaminant from a large reservoir of static fluid into a cylindrical tube discharging fluid into the reservoir. Contaminant decay is considered. Numerical results are presented for the rate of decrease along the tube of the concentration of contaminant for Reynolds × Schmidt numbers &

Droplet deformation under confined Poiseuille flow
Advances in Colloid and Interface Science, 2010The flow behavior of droplet-based liquid-liquid systems, such as emulsions, polymer blends, and foodstuff, which are ubiquitous in everyday life, has attracted scientific interest in different disciplines. In this review, we focus on the pressure-driven confined flow behavior of isolated droplets in circular and rectangular cross-section channels ...
