Following the Danube Flow. The first total syntheses of highly brominated rubrolides T, U, and U‐analog, together with the efficient and divergent syntheses of rubrolides A, D, and P. The dibrominated key intermediate, obtained via a Suzuki‐Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction, is the centerpiece of the synthesis.

This work presents a defect‐site activation strategy, in which anchoring Ir single atoms onto the highly strained defects of Pd metallene generates synergistic PdIr sites, leading to a dramatic enhancement in the ethanol oxidation reaction. The development of highly efficient electrocatalysts for the ethanol oxidation reaction (EOR) is critical to the

Enhancing the d–Electrocatalytic Activity of MXene Through Defect Engineering
Applications of MXene. ABSTRACT Due to their versatile and tunable surface and bulk chemistry, MXenes have great potential as electrocatalysts for batteries and supercapacitors. When compared with other electrocatalytic processes, in electrocatalytic reactions, MXenes could improve ion diffusion and charge transfer by either providing functional groups

We report a dual‐atomic Si–Fe–N–C catalyst synthesized from nitrogen‐rich pinecones and an Fe porphyrin precursor. The inherent Si and N in pinecones form a porous Si–N–C framework that stabilizes Fe atoms during pyrolysis, yielding robust Si–Fe dual sites.
