ABSTRACT Porous gas bearings (PGBs) enable high‐speed, oil‐free operation in modern rotating machinery. This study develops a coupled thermo‐hydrodynamic (THD) model for a cylindrical porous gas bearing lubricated with four working fluids—air, R‐134a, helium and hydrogen.

Topics on n-ary Algebraic Structures
We review the basic definitions and properties of two types of n-ary structures, the Generalized Lie Algebras (GLA) and the Filippov (≡ n-Lie) algebras (FA), as well as those of their Poisson counterparts, the Generalized Poisson (GPS) and Nambu-Poisson (

ABSTRACT The well‐posedness results for mild solutions to the fractional neutral stochastic differential system with Rosenblatt process with Hurst index Ĥ∈12,1$$ \hat{H}\in \left(\frac{1}{2},1\right) $$ is discussed in this article. To demonstrate the results, the concept of bounded integral contractors is combined with the stochastic result and ...

On Lie Algebroids and Poisson Algebras
We introduce and study a class of Lie algebroids associated to faithful modules which is motivated by the notion of cotangent Lie algebroids of Poisson manifolds. We also give a classification of transitive Lie algebroids and describe Poisson algebras by

Exploring exceptional Drinfeld geometries
We explore geometries that give rise to a novel algebraic structure, the Exceptional Drinfeld Algebra, which has recently been proposed as an approach to study generalised U-dualities, similar to the non-Abelian and Poisson-Lie generalisations of T ...

We describe the basic properties of two n-ary algebras, the Generalized Lie Algebras (GLAs) and, particularly, the Filippov (or n-Lie) algebras (FAs), and comment on their n-ary Poisson counterparts, the Generalized Poisson (GP) and Nambu-Poisson (N-P ...

Existence Analysis of a Three‐Species Memristor Drift‐Diffusion System Coupled to Electric Networks
ABSTRACT The existence of global weak solutions to a partial‐differential‐algebraic system is proved. The system consists of the drift‐diffusion equations for the electron, hole, and oxide vacancy densities in a memristor device, the Poisson equation for the electric potential, and the differential‐algebraic equations for an electric network.

Discriminants of Taft algebra smash products and applications
A general criterion is given for when the center of a Taft algebra smash product is the fixed ring. This is applied to the study of the noncommutative discriminant.

ABSTRACT Modern engineering systems require advanced uncertainty‐aware model updating methods that address parameter correlations beyond conventional interval analysis. This paper proposes a novel framework integrating Riemannian manifold theory with Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) for systems governed by Symmetric Positive‐Definite (SPD) matrix ...

Obstruction Results in Quantization Theory
We define the quantization structures for Poisson algebras necessary to generalise Groenewold and Van Hove's result that there is no consistent quantization for the Poisson algebra of Euclidean phase space. Recently a similar obstruction was obtained for
