Poisson convergence on the free Poisson algebra
Based on recent findings by Bourguin and Peccati, we give a fourth moment type condition for an element of a free Poisson chaos of arbitrary order to converge to a free (centered) Poisson distribution.

A POINTWISE POISSON APPROXIMATION FOR RANDOM SUMS OF GEOMETRIC RANDOM VARIABLES [PDF]
We determine a bound for the point metric between the dis- tribution of random sums of independent geometric random variables and an appropriate Poisson distribution. Three examples have been given to illustrate the results obtained.

A stress‐normalised sensitivity metric (S = G/Y) is introduced as a materials‐level benchmark for intrinsically piezoresistive nanocomposites. By decoupling electromechanical response (G) from stiffness (Y), the framework enables direct comparison across diverse systems and clarifies design trade‐offs for wearable sensors.

Probing Near‐Field EM Fluctuations in Superparamagnetic CoFeB With NV Quantum Dephasometry
We non‐invasively investigate the superparamagnetic spin dynamics of a 1.1 nm CoFeB layer by probing its near‐field EM fluctuations using NV centers‐based quantum dephasometry. Our findings are further supported by theoretical modeling and SQUID‐based magnetization characterization. These results provide critical insight into the magnetization dynamics

Sum of Poisson-Distributed Random Variables: A Convolution Method Approach
This paper presents a two-parameter extension of the classical Poisson distribution, specifically tailored for rare event modeling. The proposed model is constructed as the sum of two independent Poisson random variables, using a convolution method ...

Poisson approximation of binomial point processes [PDF]
In the paper, we study properties of the vertex process from convex hulls generated by independent observations of a two-dimensional random vector, the distribution of which behaves like a regularly varying function near the boundary of the support of ...

QBP1 Peptide as a Potential Anti‐Amyloidogenic Therapy for Type 2 Diabetes: An In Vitro Study
The anti‐amyloidogenic peptide QBP1 effectively halts human islet amyloid polypeptide (hIAPP) aggregation, preventing the formation of toxic β‐structured intermediates. Through a combination of biophysical assays, molecular dynamics, and cell‐based studies, QBP1 is shown to preserve β‐cell viability and metabolic homeostasis, positioning it as a ...
