Who Pays What for Primary Health Care? Patterns and Determinants of the Fees Paid by Patients in a Mixed Public-Private Financing Model [PDF]

open access: yes
The New Zealand government introduced a Primary Health Care Strategy (PHCS) in 2001 aimed at improving access to primary health care, improving health, and reducing inequalities in health. The Strategy represented a substantive increase in health funding

Layer‐By‐Layer Approach to Improve the Capacitance of Conducting Polymer Films

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work describes the synthesis and characterization of a composite material based on poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) and poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxypyrrole) (PEDOP) deposited in a layer‐by‐layer approach. Due to the developed electroactive area coming from the presence of 3D nanostructures, PEDOT/PEDOP demonstrates superior areal capacitance ...

Thermal and Dimensional Stability of Photocatalytic Material ZnPS3 Under Extreme Environmental Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work shows that ZnPS3 exhibits remarkable stability under extreme conditions. It undergoes a reversible pressure‐induced phase transition with the onset at 12.5 GPa, followed by a semiconductor‐to‐semimetal transition at 100 GPa. PL, Raman, and X‐ray spectroscopies as well as first‐principles modeling reveal defect‐assisted emission, a large ...

Tuning Cation (Dis)Order in Cr‐Based Li‐Excess Oxide Cathode Materials to Improve Li+ Transport Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Partially disordered Cr‐based Li‐rich oxides are developed, featuring ordered, layered‐like environments integrated through a common oxygen sublattice with cation‐mixed regions. This activates new Li+ diffusion channels, enabling these cathodes to be used in their as‐synthesized form with micron‐sized particles.
