Vibration analysis of polar orthotropic sandwich annular plate with magnetorheological (MR) elastomer is considered. The effects of thickness of the MR elastomer, applied magnetic fields on the sandwich system are discussed. The characteristics of the sandwich plate system can be controlled and changed by the applied magnetic fields.
