This work demonstrates that replacing Ti with Nb in maraging steel forms nanoscale Nb–Mo particles along boundaries, strengthening the alloy without relying on Ti phases. Heat‐treatment tuning promotes uniform crystal orientation and balanced grain boundaries, enabling strong yet ductile behavior.

BaIr2Si9: A Hybrid Structure Bridging Sodalite, Clathrate, and Skutterudite Patterns
BaIr2Si9 is a p‐type semiconductor combining structural features of the solalithe, clathrate, and skutterudite type of structure. The cage compound BaIr2Si9 adopts the BaRh2Si9 structure type with space group C2/c (Pearson symbol mC48, a = 6.230(1) Å, b = 21.409(3) Å, c = 6.232(1) Å, β = 90.30(1)°).

Abstract This paper presents the first direct evidence of the slags produced during the cementation alloying process of Cu with speiss inside ceramic crucibles, thus representing Cu alloying with As in Middle Kingdom Egypt. The settlement deposits from the Middle Bronze Age were excavated on Elephantine Island, within modern Aswan.
